Legal & General's ETF arm concentrates almost entirely on thematic equity, built with external research partners rather than in-house marketing narratives. Battery value chain, cybersecurity, clean water, healthcare breakthrough and ageing population are the recognisable names, and several were first to market in Europe. The funds are unhedged, global and often mid-cap heavy, which makes them behave very differently from a world index — that is the intent, but it needs sizing accordingly.
