WisdomTree, Inc. · New York / London · funds domiciled in Ireland and Jersey (ETPs)
WisdomTree is unusual in that it builds its own indices rather than licensing MSCI or FTSE, weighting holdings by dividends or earnings instead of market cap. That produces a persistent value and quality tilt — helpful in some regimes, a drag in others. Its second business is commodity and currency ETPs, where it inherited the ETF Securities platform and now offers everything from broad baskets to single metals, plus leveraged and short products aimed at traders.

What to check first
Fundamental weighting is a factor bet that can underperform market cap indices for years. The leveraged and short ETPs are trading tools and are not suitable for buy-and-hold.
A deliberate value or dividend tilt, and commodity allocations.
